What's the Scoop?
Golden Bell has revamped their Teens in Action Program (TIA). Sophomores through seniors in high school! You are invited to volunteer for four weeks of summer-camp staff experience this summer! During those 4 weeks you will see three different main areas of Golden Bell’s programming and behind the scenes jobs. You will have opportunities to invest in campers, learn the inner workings of camp, and connect with great college aged mentors. You will be participating in a variety of fun activities when you are not working.

You will be led in weekly Bible studies by our TIA mentors and will attend a daily Bible study with the rest of our Summer Staff crew. Each Monday we have a Summer Staff meeting and all-staff worship service that you will also attend; this is an opportunity to share about your week, connect with each other, and connect with God.

This is considered a volunteer position, but food and housing will be provided for all TIA's.
Each of you who are accepted into the program will be assigned a mentor from our college staff. All college staff must go through a rigorous application and interview process and pass two background checks. The program is overseen by our Program Director Morgan Koyl, in addition to our TIA Coordinator.

Your first session in the Teens In Action Program you will be involved in all two main jobs; Crew Team and Resident Camp. If you come back for a second session, you can pick your top two interests of our camp and spend your 4 weeks focusing on those two areas. If you come back for a third session, then you will be able to pick your favorite interest of the camp and spend the 4 weeks in that area.

You may sign up for 2 sessions in one Summer season. However, you can just choose 1 session for the Summer season.

If you decided to come back as a summer staffer after being a TIA, then you will receive a $15 a week bonus on top of our weekly base pay.

June 27-July 1 Choose Resident Camp (Elementary Age) or Crew Team
July 2 - TIA Party

July 2-3 Arrive

July 5-10 TIA Training
July 11-17 Resident Camp (Jr. High Age)
July 18-24 Crew Team
July 25-30 Choose Resident Camp (Elementary Age) or Crew Team
July 31 Staff Party

When applying you may request whichever session works best for you, or apply for two sessions back-to-back. Only 4 to 6 TIA's will be accepted!
